Opened in March 2007, The Fernox Academy is a purpose built training facility which offers practical, on- the- job training combined with classroom theory instruction on the use and benefits of Water Treatment. Located at Fernox’s Head Office in Woking, Surrey, this unique venue holds training courses for professional installers, contractors, specifiers and OEM’s to develop a comprehensive understanding of Water Treatment and best practice in the promotion of Energy Efficiency in Central Heating Systems.
The first of its kind in Europe, the Fernox Academy provides a well-equipped classroom with state-of-the art audio and visual technology plus a hands-on demonstration room which is equipped with:.
• Two complete central heating systems with radiators;
• Underfloor heating system with glass viewing panels and lighting;
• Solar thermal heating system;
• Fernox Powerflushing Machines with clear tanks
• Thermal imaging camera with visual display to show the adverse effects of sludge and debris on a system.
The latest innovations from Fernox also feature as part of the programme, including the revolutionary Total Filter TF1, Express range, and Fernox renewables products which include Solar and Heat Pump heat transfer fluids.
